We stayed for a long weekend in our caravan, despite the poor weather from storm Calum this was such a lovely campsite. I have never revisited a holiday destination but this campsite is something I could only dream of and we will be back! We have high expectations as a family for cleanliness and this site was immaculate. The pitches were well kempt and lots of lovely little flowers around. We stayed in pitch 21 next to the field of sheep, the owner was very friendly she allowed us to have our caravan facing the field so we woke up to a beautiful view of the field. They had a little park with a toddler swing and in the kitchen area there was a wall that my little girl could chalk on and a toy kitchen for her to play with. To top it off there were lots of pets in the petting corner which my daughter and I loved. There were so many nice touches that I have never experienced anywhere before like fresh eggs for sale from the chickens on site and lots of equipment for little kids such as steps to get to the sinks and toilets and also a baby bath. Thank you so much to the owner for such a nice weekend, I would recommend this site to anyone!
We're only a day into staying here and I feel compelled to write a review.It's hands down probably one of the best sites we've stayed on.The facilities are absolutely immaculate, and there's a really personal feel to the site from the owners, you can see they put a lot into it.The kitchen in the reception/shower block is great. We don't actually need to use it but went for a look and it's fantastic. It's kitted out with everything you'd have at home, including a washing machine. There's even toys, games and books for your entertainment.The shower and toilets are practically brand new, and of a really high standard.We've got both a child and a dog in our party and this site is perfect for both.It's a short walk to Eden Camp, and a slightly longer walk to Old Malton.We will definitely be back at some point and would highly recommend this site to others.
Small but very picturesque campsite. Everything you need and a few added bonuses like a small kids play area and a campers kitchen that you would struggle to find a better example of in a youth hostel. Excellent holiday so far!
We came across this hidden gem whilst looking for somewhere to stay near Flamingoland, and we weren't disappointed at all. Very friendly and welcoming and well run. Nice pitches and amenities were outstanding. Campers kitchen is ideal and also FREE hot showers too. We will definitely be coming back here again. Thanks for having us!
Fantastic little place and really lovely. We stayed in the cabin and it was excellent. Lovely little site and kids loved it too. We used it as a base for flamingo land trip as it's really close. I would return anytime and My kids didn't want to leave. Really brilliant Little gem.
