I've been on a number of trips with Large Outdoors over the last 3 years. It's perfect for solo travellers with lots of different walking options (easy to hard) and excellent guides. To arrive, sit back, drink wine, meet new people and look forward to home cooked dinners is magical.In 2019 I'm going on a walking trip to the Pembrokeshire coast and later on in the year Pickering by steam train 1940s style. Excellent well run company.
I have been going to various events for the past 8 years and had a lot of fun adventures. I like the set up and the variety on offer and I have got to see parts the UK that I would probably not have ventured to or thought of.I particularly enjoyed Skye and the West Highland Way and have got involved with a couple of charities that is pretty rewarding too.
Fantastic variety of trips to suit all. From beginners to experienced walkers and solo travellers to couples or groups. There really is something for everyone! The weekend packages are fantastic with great food and friendly, knowledgable hosts. Highly recommend Large Outdoors!

They are a hugely professional company but balance that with a warm and friendly welcome that makes you feel relaxed, comfortable and in safe hands as soon as you arrive.
