Good place to go for your classic "pub grub". Friendly, helpful staff
Food is not consistent. Had some fabulous meals here. But unfortunately when I was entertaining important guests the service was very slow and dishes came out at random intervals as opposed to us all being served at the same time some meals 35min apart. When steak came out it looked like a starter not a main meal. Was very disappointed. Had to call in at McDonalds on way home as was still very hungry. Not good value.
Only had a quick drink whilst waiting for car to be valeted opposite but it was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. From what I saw, food fine too!
