My wife bought a car for here with a 6 month guarantee which was to cover any car problems. After a seven weeks of use and not many miles done in it the clutch was slipping badly. it was checked by another garage that said it needed changing. The guarantee should have covered this ,but we found out that it was worthless and no help would be given. We will never deal with this garage or person again and we suggest others don't use it......... After the response below think you should edit yours.. You say you MOTed it for her car was bought on 8th august , but MOT is the 12th of MAY 2017 at ... 68734... in malton ..A two mile test drive also doesn't make a new driver a qualified mechanic to know if the clutch was nearly worn out does it.. YOU were called and TOLD us you could do NOTHING after calling the insurance company yourself . You also said WE SHOULD FIND SOMEWHERE CHEAPER AND GET IT FIXED or did YOU FORGET THAT....You say that you are 10 minutes away but you couldn't be bothered to come and check it out . Yet YOU wanted my wife to drive a broken down car over to you.. . The car was NOT driveable and WE DID GET FIXED BY A GOOD LOCAL GARAGE . This is why the car is still been driven The car was also serviced on the 20/ 5 / 17 at ...68743..... by LM autocare NOT at 68700 mileage in August when you said YOU serviced it. YOU SAID ALL THINGS WERE COVERED BY THE INSURANCE . I guess NOT . I guess by the things you have written are not the true facts after all
